P1 Coatings peelable base (1 litre):
P1 Coatings are taking the paint protection film to a whole new level by combining the advantages of PPF with the advantages of paint. The result of this is a liquid paint that dries to form a tough film that can be applied to the impact areas of cars — such as the front bumpers, bonnets, side mirrors, fenders, doors or entire vehicles — to protect their beautiful paint finishes from environmental hazards such as UV degradation, sand blasting, stone chips, bug impacts, bird droppings and other road debris.
Since it is completely transparent, the perfectly clear peelable paint has the added benefit of not compromising a car's appearance while being applied as a liquid it will flow around the edges of each panel, effectively making it truly invisible.
While the products are delivered transparent we offer a unique range spanning over 70.000+ OEM colour matching options and practically an infinite variation of custom colours.
P1 Base is applied in four layers which are covered with a Topcoat
and ensures that the whole system is strong enough to be peeled
without braking into small pieces.
The P1 Base is available in Clear, but can be tinted White, Black or other colours.
Used as a base for pearl effects, as a binder for pearls and pigments or in
Clear form used as is for Clear Paint Protection (Clear Bra), Complete Clear Vehicle Protection.
The liquid coating is easily applied manually by spraying.
Upon drying, P1 forms a tough, flexible and durable film, providing excellent resistance
and strength.
• High solids - 1,3 litres has the same amount of solids like 1 gallon (3,785 litres) of other
competitors on the market
• Extreme coverage - up to 20 m² per litre
For a clear PPF process:
1. Apply 4 coats of P1 using a Sata 5000 RP 1.3 at 2.2bar (this offers the required film build)
2. Add 3% of P1 adhesion promoter to the first coat only.
3. Allow a 10min flash off between coats 1-3 and a 20min flash off after coat 4.
4. Then apply 2 coats of clear as normal
5. It must be fully cured before you peel
